As soon as midnight passed, the question of how to allocate the rooms became a dilemma due to the limited space.
The Half-Mountain Resort House was a luxurious standalone villa, spacious and extravagantly decorated, but the only downside was that it had only four rooms.

Chi Ye shot a look at Mo Huai, his expression smug.
Gu Chuyi raised her hand to cover her mouth, yawning repeatedly, “You all can discuss this slowly; I’ll head to bed with Xiao Chen first.”
After saying this, Fu Chen wrapped his arms around Gu Chuyi and headed back to their room.
Su Yuxin, feeling defeated, waved her hand, “Fine, I’m tired too; let’s go back to our room.”
“We?” Chi Ye stiffened for a moment, realizing what was happening, and the smile on his face stretched from ear to ear.
After Su Yuxin and Chi Ye left, only Gu Xiu and Xu Kaifeng remained.
After a pause, Xu Kaifeng spoke, “There’s only one room left, you…”
Realizing something, Gu Xiu quickly interrupted him, saying earnestly, “I’ll sleep in the living room.”
Xu Kaifeng's expression darkened; did he think he was a wild beast that would eat him?
“There are mosquitoes in the living room at night.”

Mo Huai glanced at the bathroom, his mind wandering as he thought about her being a wild little cat. She had once been pure as a blank sheet of paper but was now trying to seduce him in every possible way.

With such beauty before him, Mo Huai felt his throat involuntarily tighten as he stared at her.
Unaware of the burning gaze on her, Luo Wei walked to the bed, picked up her phone, and opened WeChat to see the message from Gu Chuyi. She frowned and quickly replied.
【Put away your dirty thoughts; I didn’t bring any of those things. You can enjoy them slowly with Fu Chen.】
Putting down her phone, she looked up only to find herself caught in the man’s deep, heated gaze. Confused, she asked, “Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something dirty on my face?”
“There is!”
Luo Wei frowned and reached up to wipe her face, muttering to herself, “Ah, I just took a shower; how could there be something dirty?”
Mo Huai had already moved closer to her without her noticing, easily trapping her, his hot breath brushing against her cheek.
In the next second, Mo Huai grinned wickedly, pointing to her head, “I meant there’s something dirty here.”
Luo Wei was silent for a long time before realizing, “Did you see the message from Chuyi?”
Mo Huai calmly nodded, giving her a once-over with an ambiguous look, “Wei Wei, why are you wearing two sets?”
Three black lines appeared on her forehead; did he think she was wearing sexy lingerie under her nightgown?
“I…”
Before she could finish her sentence, Luo Wei found herself swept up in his arms and thrown onto the soft bed.
The man wore a strange and ambiguous smile, “Let’s see what you’ve got.”
Luo Wei didn’t understand what he meant. Suddenly, there was a ripping sound as her clothes tore, exposing her fair skin to the air.
Mo Huai reached out his long arm, and the lights in the room instantly went out as he pressed her beneath him.
Luo Wei was flustered; she had just wanted to explain that she had rejected Gu Chuyi’s ‘dirty’ suggestion. Before she could say a word, the man suddenly threw the blanket over them.
Delicate kisses fell on her forehead, lips, collarbone, and chest…
Next was a time not suitable for children; outsiders, please do not disturb!!!
The next day.
Luo Wei, with large dark circles under her eyes, went downstairs with Mo Huai. When they reached the dining room, everyone was already having breakfast.
Gu Chuyi looked at her in surprise, “Wei Wei, did you sneak around last night? Your dark circles are bigger than a national treasure.”
Luo Wei shot a glare at the man beside her, forcing a silly smile, “I have a habit of being sensitive to beds; I had a bit of insomnia last night.”
“Really?” Gu Chuyi said skeptically, glancing at Mo Huai, understanding dawning in her mind, “Mo Huai must have slept well last night; he looks in a good mood today.”
Mo Huai’s lips curled into a proud smile. “Of course.”
As Luo Wei took her seat, Mo Huai served her a bowl of millet porridge, which she accepted and drank quietly.
Chi Ye grabbed a youtiao (fried dough stick) and stuffed it into his mouth, mumbling, “Xiu Ge, why do you have so many red spots on your face?”
Gu Xiu paused with his chopsticks in hand, recalling the immense suffering he endured sleeping in the living room last night—who would understand?
After a long time, he finally responded, “Mosquito bites.”
Xu Kaifeng gazed at him deeply, his eyes hiding emotions that others couldn’t decipher.
“Mosquitoes? Are there mosquitoes? I didn’t know,” Chi Ye scratched his head, murmuring.
"Yes." Xu Kaifeng intervened and gave Gu Xiu a faint smile. Gu Xiu shuddered, quickly lowering his head to drink soy milk, not daring to make eye contact, his heart racing.
"Ugh—"
The quiet dining environment was suddenly interrupted by an unusual sound. Gu Chuyi suddenly felt waves of nausea in her stomach and covered her mouth to dry heave. Fu Chen quickly set down his chopsticks, his voice anxious as he asked, "Chuyi, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Everyone expressed their concern.
"What happened to Chuyi?"
"Is the breakfast not clean?"
"Are you feeling better now?"
...
"Sister, you must be pregnant." Gu Xiu lowered his voice, and everyone's gaze instantly turned toward him. Gu Chuyi furrowed her brows, feeling increasingly uneasy. Her usually punctual period was delayed, and she had been unusually hungry and sleepy lately.
"Oh my God, Chuyi, you're pregnant? I'm going to be a dad!" Fu Chen exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement and joy. Su Yuxin smiled with delight, blinking her eyes, "Chuyi, congratulations!" Gu Chuyi was still in shock—pregnant? She was going to be a mother? Immersed in joy, she couldn't say a word for a long time.
Luo Wei rushed to Gu Chuyi's side, holding her hand, "Chuyi, congratulations! Since you're having a baby, hurry up and plan the wedding." Gu Chuyi nodded mechanically and looked up at Fu Chen. He gazed at her with deep affection, his voice filled with excitement, "Wife, will you marry me?"
"Wife?" Gu Chuyi repeated his words, playfully pouting, "You haven't even paid the betrothal gift yet. Such a simple proposal is definitely not acceptable." Fu Chen was overjoyed, his tone resolute, "Alright, I will give you a unique proposal."
"We'll talk about it once you've done it," Gu Chuyi teased, sticking out her tongue.
"Ugh—"
Luo Wei instinctively covered her mouth, her face filled with shock. She couldn't possibly... Once again, everyone turned their gaze toward her.
"Weiwei, you can't be pregnant, can you?"
Mo Huai's eyes were filled with hope, gazing intently at her face, half-smiling. She fell into deep thought; these days felt just like when she was pregnant—great appetite, excessive sleepiness, and her period was also delayed. How had she gotten caught again? Didn’t they say two kids in three years? How come it was two kids in two years for her?
That said, having encountered a rare good man like Mo Huai, who was powerful and devoted solely to her, Luo Wei didn't hesitate to consider giving him children. Thinking of this, her frown relaxed.
Suddenly, Mo Huai leaned in closer, whispering in her ear, "I didn't take any precautions that night."
At those words, Luo Wei's pupils dilated in shock. That night? Which night exactly! The first night had been muddled and he had taken everything from her, and now he was muddling her again... Luo Wei felt both anger and amusement; it seemed she couldn't escape her husband's grasp!

Finally done! This was my first ever translation project and I am so glad to say I enjoyed the process very much. I chose this novel because it seemed less complicated which is perfect for a beginner translator like me. My only disappointment with this story is that the gay storyline was never fully fleshed out but I will translate a bl novel next to make up for it.
