Luo Wei opened her eyes wide and stared at the man in front of her, sneering. She had once liked him so much, but he never even looked at her. Recalling her school days, Luo Qianqian and her classmates would laugh at her for being old-fashioned, while Chi Yu remained indifferent and always cold to her.

Why is it that the always aloof and dignified President Chi now utters such humble words?

Luo Wei was silent and looked away, the atmosphere suddenly dropping to zero degrees. Chi Yu's eyes were cold and sharp as he smiled bleakly. "It's ridiculous for a person to say she doesn't love someone."

Luo Wei trembled, a sneer forming at the corner of her mouth. Did he ever love her? He blamed her instead.

She was about to speak when Chi Ye's surprised voice broke the tension, "Sister Weiwei, it's really you. I saw you standing with my brother from a distance, and I thought it was you."

Luo Wei turned around and saw Chi Ye standing in front of her. Collecting her thoughts, she raised her lips and asked, "Why did you come to the hospital?"

Chi Ye lowered his head, unable to meet her gaze, and remained silent for a while.

Luo Wei noticed his head and arms wrapped in gauze and understood immediately. She sighed softly, her voice filled with concern. "Don't get into any more fights in the future. I'll worry about you."

Chi Ye looked up, smiling brightly. "Sister Weiwei, don't worry about me. I can take care of myself." He patted his chest confidently, his 1.80-meter-tall figure looming over her.

Chi Yu, standing nearby, observed with cold, angry eyes. He pursed his lips, feeling the sting of her care for Chi Ye, while she remained more indifferent towards him than a stranger.

Chi Ye, oblivious to Chi Yu's discomfort, asked Luo Wei in confusion, "Sister Weiwei, what are you doing in the hospital?"

Luo Wei nervously fidgeted with her fingers, hesitating as she tried to find the right words. Chi Ye frowned and stared at her, sensing that something was wrong.

Luo Wei struggled to find the words to explain her situation. She was unsure how to tell Chi Ye about her pregnancy, not wanting to burden him with her worries.

"Sister Weiwei, are you hiding something from me?" Chi Ye’s voice trembled with anxiety. He was concerned and confused, wondering why she would be at the hospital if everything was normal.

Chi Ye’s mind raced with chaotic thoughts, his gaze fixed on her with increasing intensity. Meanwhile, Chi Yu glanced at the sign for the Obstetrics and Gynecology department and frowned.

Chi Ye followed Chi Yu’s gaze, his eyes widening with realization. He turned back to Luo Wei with urgency. "Sister Weiwei, why are you in the obstetrics and gynecology department?"

Seeing the concern on their faces, Luo Wei took a deep breath, feeling it was time to reveal the truth. But before she could speak, she was interrupted by the mounting tension around her.

"Weiwei," Mo Huai called out as he approached with a graceful and confident demeanor.

Luo Wei's face softened with relief as she responded, "Mo Huai." Her lips curved into a slight smile.

Chi Yu and Chi Ye turned toward the voice. Chi Yu's eyes widened in surprise as he muttered, "Mr. Mo," his gaze vacant and disbelieving.

Mo Huai reached Luo Wei and said gently, "Sorry I’m late."

Chi Yu’s face went pale as he looked at Mo Huai with suspicion. "Boss Mo, what are you doing here?"

Mo Huai turned to Chi Yu, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Mr. Chi, it’s been a while," he said with a wry smile.

Chi Ye, noticing the exchange and feeling anxious, leaned closer to Luo Wei and whispered, "Sister Weiwei, who is he? Why are you with him?"

Luo Wei took a deep breath to steady herself and answered softly, "I'm pregnant."

Chi Ye’s reaction was like a thunderclap. He stared in shock, unable to believe his ears. "Pregnant? Is he the father of the child?" He pointed a trembling finger at Mo Huai.

Luo Wei nodded in response.

Chi Yu’s expression darkened, his eyes deep pools of cold anger. "You're pregnant before marriage?" he asked, his tone icy.

He sneered, clearly displeased.

Mo Huai's face hardened slightly, though his voice remained calm and soothing. "Pregnant before marriage? We've already obtained our marriage certificate and are legally married," he said, his words measured and his smile inscrutable.

Chi Ye was stunned. "Sister Weiwei, are you married?" he asked, his voice rising in disbelief.

Luo Wei nodded again, her voice filled with regret. "I'm sorry for revealing this now. I didn’t want to worry you…" She said, her sadness evident.

Chi Yu’s heart raced, his face turning an ashen blue as his expression darkened further.

Mo Huai, exuding a cold fury, approached Chi Yu and said with a chilling tone, "My wife and I will take our leave now."

He then took Luo Wei’s hand and led her out of Gu Family Hospital.

Chi Yu watched them leave, his fists clenched tightly at his sides, his body rigid with suppressed anger.

Chi Ye, observing the scene with disdain, turned to Chi Yu and said sarcastically, "Are you still clinging to this? You don’t have a wife anymore."

In the Maybach car, the atmosphere was tense.

Luo Wei, sitting in the plush back seat, glanced nervously at Mo Huai. He was driving with one hand, his slender fingers deftly maneuvering the steering wheel. His face remained impassive, his noble features betraying no hint of curiosity about the earlier encounter.

The scent of sandalwood from Mo Huai’s cologne filled the car. Luo Wei, trying to break the silence, ventured hesitantly, “Aren’t you curious about who those people were?”

Mo Huai glanced briefly at her but remained silent, his expression unreadable.

Luo Wei’s palms grew clammy with sweat. She braced herself for his anger.

After a moment of silence, Mo Huai’s clear voice finally broke through. “I already know.”

Luo Wei was surprised and stared at the man, "You know everything?"
Mo Huai showed a faint smile on his face and nodded, "Yeah."
"You...why didn't you tell me." Luo Wei's emotions calmed down. "You don't mind that he was my ex-fiancé?" she asked tentatively.
Mo Huai was silent for a few seconds, then his face showed a firm expression, "I don't mind."
Mo Huai was thinking that if he had met the girl earlier, Chi Yu wouldn't have happened.
Luo Wei curled her lips into a smile and gazed at the man gratefully.
"If you continue to look at me with those affectionate eyes, I can't guarantee what will happen next." Mo Huai's lips curled slightly, and a low and hoarse voice sounded.
Hearing this, Luo Wei turned her head sharply, her face flushed like a cooked shrimp.
An evil smile appeared on Mo Huai's lips.
After a while, the car stopped steadily on the tree-lined avenue of Supreme Mansion.
Two vivid blushes spread across Luo Wei’s cheeks and extended to the back of her ears. She flung open the car door, quickly stepped out, and dashed away, eager to escape her embarrassment.

Her face burned with a deep flush, and she didn’t want Mo Huai to see her discomfort.

Mo Huai had just unfastened his seatbelt when she disappeared in a flash, but he had caught the fleeting glimpse of her shy expression.

A wicked smile played on his lips as he observed her retreat. His striking features and deep, dark eyes conveyed a wild, unrestrained allure that was both captivating and dangerously seductive.
