The next day at noon.
Zhu Shulan was incredibly bored. Ever since the collapse of the Luo family, those once close sisters who cherished each other had gradually distanced themselves from her. Inside, Zhu Shulan was filled with panic. When the Luo family was flourishing, everyone flattered and fawned over her. Now that they had fallen, people acted like they were seeing a ghost when they encountered her.
After lunch, Zhu Shulan sat in the living room, frequently changing channels with the remote, but her eyes were not on the screen. Luo Jianguo had gone to work, and Luo Qianqian had gone out to have fun. The spacious house lacked any signs of life, which made Zhu Shulan even more depressed. She turned off the TV and decided to go out for a walk to clear her mind. If she didn’t go out soon, she felt she might go moldy.
With that thought, Zhu Shulan changed her clothes, put on her shoes at the entrance, and went out the door.
Zhu Shulan wandered aimlessly along the road when suddenly, a Bentley stopped in front of her. Zhu Shulan frowned and looked at the car window. The window slowly rolled down, and Zhu Shulan caught a glimpse of the man inside. The man leaned out, asking politely, "Excuse me, are you Ms. Zhu Shulan?"
"Who are you?" Zhu Shulan asked curiously.
Xu Kaifeng smiled and answered, "Hello, I am Mr. Mo's assistant. My name is Xu Kaifeng."
"Mr. Mo?"
"Mo Huai, Ms. Luo Wei's husband."
Zhu Shulan scoffed at his words. If it weren't for Mo Huai, the Luo family wouldn't have gone bankrupt. How could he still have the face to find her now? Zhu Shulan looked at him disdainfully and raised her voice, "What do you want?"
Xu Kaifeng maintained a slight smile, as required by his profession. No matter how much he disliked someone, he had to hide it. After all, what Zhu Shulan had done to Miss Luo was enough to deserve being torn apart or executed.
Xu Kaifeng nodded with a smile. "Ms. Zhu, why don't we find a place to have a proper conversation? It’s indeed inconvenient to talk here." He gestured to the surroundings, noting the hot sun and noisy environment.
Zhu Shulan sneered, her tone impatient. "I don't want to talk with you. There's nothing to discuss about Luo Wei."
With that, Zhu Shulan was about to turn and leave, but the man's words from the car stopped her in her tracks.
"If I told you that Luo Qianqian is not your biological daughter, would that interest you?"
Zhu Shulan looked at him in shock and anger. "What nonsense are you talking about?"
Xu Kaifeng raised an eyebrow and waved a stack of documents in his hand. "This is the evidence. I believe our conversation won't disappoint you."
Furious, Zhu Shulan opened the car door and got inside. Satisfied, Xu Kaifeng smiled and started the engine.
In a café, Zhu Shulan sat with her arms crossed, glaring at him angrily. Xu Kaifeng acted as if he didn’t notice and waved over a waiter. "Ms. Zhu, why don't you have something to drink?" He pushed the menu towards her.
"No need, just get to the point," Zhu Shulan refused without hesitation.
Xu Kaifeng still ordered two cups of coffee, and the waiter nodded and left.
After a while, Xu Kaifeng finally spoke. "Ms. Zhu, I'm here today under my boss's orders. The purpose is to expose Luo Jianguo's scheme."
"My husband?" Zhu Shulan asked in surprise, frowning.
"Yes, when you were pregnant, your husband was keeping a mistress outside. Your rival's name was Chu Qianqian."
Zhu Shulan sneered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I must be crazy to have come here to listen to this nonsense."
Xu Kaifeng remained calm and spoke gently. "Whether you believe it or not, it's the truth."
He continued, "The mistress's name was Chu Qianqian. Now, why is your eldest daughter named Luo Qianqian?"
Zhu Shulan's thoughts drifted back to those days. She had held Luo Qianqian in her arms, full of love, and asked Luo Jianguo what name would be suitable. Luo Jianguo had thought for a moment and suggested, "How about Luo Qianqian?"
Zhu Shulan had initially rejected it, saying, "Isn't that too common? This is the fruit of our love; it should have a meaningful name."
But Luo Jianguo had explained, "It's not common at all. They say the green grass underfoot is soft, like eating cherry blossom candy. See how poetic it is."
Under his persuasion, Zhu Shulan had agreed to the name Luo Qianqian.
Coming back to the present, Zhu Shulan snapped, "What exactly are you trying to say? I'm busy. If there's nothing else, I'm leaving."
Xu Kaifeng pulled out a stack of documents and photos from his briefcase and dropped them in front of her with a thud. "This is the evidence. Once you see it, you'll understand."
Zhu Shulan casually picked up the photos. The first thing she saw was a young Luo Jianguo with a beautiful young woman in his arms. The woman had her hair in a ponytail, looking youthful and radiant. Their intimate posture suggested their relationship was more than ordinary. Zhu Shulan frowned and flipped through the photos one by one.
There were even more explicit photos of Luo Jianguo and the woman in bed together, which made Zhu Shulan’s face turn pale. She was so shocked that she couldn't say a word, feeling like a puppet with its strings cut. She mumbled to herself in disbelief, "This can't be true... I don't believe it..."
Meanwhile, Xu Kaifeng leisurely sipped his coffee, his expression calm and composed.
After finishing the photos, Zhu Shulan set them aside and grabbed the documents to read. She frowned, "A DNA report?"
She looked up, her face white as a sheet, and asked, "What DNA?"
Xu Kaifeng put down his coffee, licked his lips, and gestured for her to continue reading. "The answer you're looking for is in the documents."
Zhu Shulan's back stiffened, and she continued flipping through the pages. On the third page, it stated that Zhu Shulan and Luo Qianqian had no blood relation.
Zhu Shulan was stunned, her hands trembling as she turned to the next page, where it clearly stated that Zhu Shulan and Luo Wei were a 100% match.
She angrily raised the document into the air, her eyes cold as she demanded, "What does this mean? Qianqian isn’t my biological daughter, and Luo..."
Zhu Shulan paused before continuing, "Weiwei is my daughter?"
Xu Kaifeng nodded, smiling. "Now you should understand why Luo Qianqian is named Luo Qianqian."
Zhu Shulan let out a bitter laugh, realizing how foolish she had been. The daughter she had cherished for over twenty years was actually her rival's child, and Luo Jianguo had even encouraged her to name her after that rival.
A spark of anger flared in her eyes as her fingers tightened involuntarily. "Where is Chu Qianqian now?"
"She's dead. She died of a hemorrhage during childbirth on the same day you gave birth. That's why Luo Jianguo brought Luo Qianqian home and switched her identity with Ms. Luo."
Zhu Shulan gritted her teeth, her heart aching with bitterness. "So Weiwei is my real daughter, and after all these years, what have I done to her? I deserve to die."
Zhu Shulan broke down, sobbing on the table, drawing curious looks from other customers.
Xu Kaifeng glanced around, then handed her a handkerchief. "Ms. Zhu, that's why I came to see you today. I have other matters to attend to this afternoon, so I'll take my leave."
Xu Kaifeng picked up the bill and headed to the cashier, eager to leave. After all, he was a man and had no talent for comforting people, not even elders. Being a straight guy, what else could he do?

A bit problematic if Zhu Shulan is a 100% DNA match with Luo Wei. That would make them sisters or clones or somthing.
