Di Sheng Hotel.

Unconsciously, the day of the full moon banquet arrived. Luo Wei invited her close friends and family, including Chi's parents and Zhu Leiting.

After learning about Zhu Leiting's life story, she admired her grandfather even more, with her admiration overflowing like a rushing river. She wasn’t sure if Zhu Leiting would attend.

Mo Huai was a bit surprised that she invited Zhu Leiting, but as long as she liked it, he supported her without hesitation.

Luo Wei wore a light yellow dress that accentuated her curvaceous figure. Mo Huai wrapped his arm around her slender waist and gave her a charming smile.

Luo Wei returned his smile brightly, adjusted his tie, and teased, "Mr. Mo, you look very handsome today."

Mo Huai tilted his head and laughed, his voice sexy and enticing as he leaned closer to her ear, "Really? How about testing that tonight?"

Luo Wei looked at him thoughtfully, squinting her eyes as if she understood something, then decided to play it cool.

"Xin Xin Jie, you're here!" Luo Wei left the man standing bewildered and ran towards Su Yuxin.

Su Yuxin was dressed in a black cocktail dress, her hair cascading like seaweed behind her, exuding elegance and beauty.

"Congratulations, Wei Wei." Su Yuxin smiled and lightly patted her shoulder.

"Thank you." Luo Wei replied, noticing Chi's parents walking over. She stepped forward to greet them with a proud and elegant smile, "Auntie Chi, Uncle Chi, you’re here."

Chi’s father nodded, while Chi’s mother’s eyes flashed with a myriad of emotions that eventually turned into a smile. "Wei Wei, congratulations on becoming a mother."

Chi’s mother handed over a gift box, which Luo Wei accepted, "Thank you, Auntie Chi."

Chi’s mother looked at Luo Wei, feeling a pang in her heart. She recalled that if Xiao Yu had cherished her, Luo Wei would have been her daughter-in-law. She really liked Luo Wei.

When Chi's mother received the invitation, she was overjoyed, not expecting that in just a year, Luo Wei would be a mother. Chi Yu found the invitation and flew into a rage.

Chi Yu acted like a mad dog, barking at everyone he saw. The veins on his forehead bulged as he smashed everything in his room, unable to vent his anger. Only then did he realize that Luo Wei had truly forgotten about him and fallen in love with someone else. He had just been unwilling to accept the truth.

Chi Yu deeply validated the saying: "The one you can’t have is always restless, and the one who is favored can act fearlessly."

Chi's mother snapped back to reality, "Where is Chi Ye?"

Luo Wei smiled, "Xiao Ye arrived early; he’s probably playing with Chu Yi."

At that moment, Zhu Leiting made a grand entrance in front of everyone. Luo Wei looked over and smiled slightly. Mo Huai walked over and wrapped his arm around her slim waist.

Luo Wei walked over, unsure of how to address him, so she thought for a moment and said, "Mr. Zhu, you’re here."

Although Zhu Leiting was over eighty years old, his eyes were cloudy, but his body was still upright. He nodded and smiled gently, "Congratulations."

With a glance from Zhu Leiting, the bodyguard next to him handed over the gift.

Luo Wei accepted it, "Thank you, Mr. Zhu."

Zhu Leiting pretended to cough lightly and softly reminded, "Calling me Mr. Zhu doesn’t seem appropriate, does it?"

Luo Wei frowned, thought for a few seconds, and then realized, calling out loudly, "Grandpa!"

"Yes—" Zhu Leiting responded loudly, laughing heartily.

The bodyguard beside him was stunned. Master Zhu had grown up in the army, a solemn and serious man who rarely smiled. Ever since he met Luo Wei, he often had a smile on his face that had never been seen before.

When Zhu Leiting received Luo Wei’s invitation, he was as happy as a child. His hand holding the invitation trembled slightly, as if he were holding a precious gem.

On the other side, Chi Ye was kissing the little baby nonstop, gently pinching Xiao Yueyi’s cute little face, murmuring, "Xiao Yueyi, I’m your uncle. Call me uncle."

Gu Xiu slapped him, "Are you stupid? She’s only a month old; how can she call you uncle?"

Gu Xiu looked at him as if he were an idiot and shook his head helplessly.

Chi Ye, unconvinced, continued kissing the little baby, "Xiao Yueyi, Uncle loves you the most." He planted a kiss on the baby’s face.

Gu Xiu watched Chi Ye, amused, and teased, "You’re definitely going to be a daughter slave in the future."

Chi Ye pouted and said proudly, "I’d be happy to."

"Gu Chuyi, what’s wrong with you? You haven’t said a word, which isn’t like you." Gu Xiu finally noticed that she seemed preoccupied.

Gu Chuyi was lost in thought and didn’t respond.

"Chuyi, what’s wrong?" Chi Ye turned to look at Gu Chuyi, curiously asking.

Only then did Gu Chuyi realize someone was calling her. She gathered her thoughts, "What’s wrong? What’s wrong? Is there a fire?"

Gu Chuyi looked around in a panic—there was no fire. Chi Ye and his brother were making a fuss over nothing!

"I’m asking what’s wrong with you. Are you in a bad mood?" Gu Xiu walked over and nudged her shoulder, asking with concern.

"Nothing." Gu Chuyi forced a smile and pretended to be calm.

"Really?" Gu Xiu was half-convinced, narrowing his eyes at her.

"Yes." Gu Chuyi nodded guiltily.

Gu Chuyi scratched her head thoughtfully, then turned her head and unintentionally saw Fu Chen walking toward them. Her heart skipped a beat.

"I… I need to go to the bathroom." Gu Chuyi said in a panic, left those words behind, and fled.

Gu Xiu and Chi Ye were left bewildered, looking at each other in confusion.

"Long time no see." Fu Chen was dressed in a well-tailored black suit, his sleeves slightly rolled up, revealing his toned arms, as he greeted them casually.

"It’s not that long, about three months." Gu Xiu rubbed his chin, thoughtfully answering.

"By the way, what happened between you and Chuyi? Why did she run away as soon as she saw you?" Chi Ye asked with a gossiping look, his curiosity piqued.

Fu Chen's eyelids twitched, a coldness flashed in his eyes, but he quickly suppressed it and responded calmly, "Nothing."

"Hmm?" Chi Ye was skeptical, then said firmly, "I don’t believe you."

Chi Ye gave Fu Chen an ambiguous look, as if to say, “Are you two secretly involved? Are you having an affair?”

Suddenly, Chi Ye's shoulder hurt, and he complained, "Brother, if it's not true, there’s no need to hit so hard…"

Chi Ye’s aggrieved voice came, and Gu Xiu shrugged, his expression saying, “You deserved it for talking nonsense.”

Fu Chen’s eyes were unreadable, and a meaningful smile appeared on his lips.

When Gu Chuyi came out of the bathroom, she was not herself, as if her soul had been taken away.

After washing her hands, she pulled out a tissue to dry them, muttering to herself for encouragement, “What’s so scary about Fu Chen? He’s just an ordinary man.”

With that thought, Gu Chuyi hesitated for a few seconds before leaving the bathroom. As she passed the corner, that familiar, bone-chilling voice reached her ears.

"Are you that afraid of me?" The deep, alluring voice hit Gu Chuyi like ice.
