Months had passed since Luo Wei returned to work, and the little baby had already started babbling. It was a rare weekend off, with Su Yuxin managing the shop and Mo Huai also off work. It was the perfect opportunity for the family of three to strengthen their bond.

Luo Wei rubbed her face against the baby's chubby cheeks, making the little one giggle, filling the living room with laughter.

Mo Huai, dressed in casual homewear, walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her slim waist. His freshly woken-up voice was especially deep and seductive. "Where are we going today?" he asked, then smirked mischievously, his voice low and devilish. "How about we stay home to bond instead? There's not much fun outside, and I think our bedroom's pretty entertaining. We can do a lot there, don’t you think?"

Luo Wei: …

He said it with a straight face, and Luo Wei had to admire his shamelessness. This was the same Mo Huai, the high-profile CEO, who had no image to maintain in front of her. Luo Wei felt helpless. As a father, was it really appropriate to say such suggestive things in front of their daughter?

She rolled her eyes at him and pushed him two meters away.

"Uh… how about the amusement park?" Luo Wei suggested after thinking for a moment. They had never been, and although the baby was still young, children loved lively places.

"Alright, I’ll go get changed then." Mo Huai was about to steal a kiss, but Luo Wei dodged skillfully. Hmph, wasn’t last night enough for him? She knew his tricks well—if she stoked that fire in his heart, her day would be over.

Luo Wei was on the verge of tears.

"Go wash up and change," Luo Wei ordered with a forced smile.

Mo Huai was momentarily stunned but ignored everything and pressed her head down to kiss her fiercely on her sweet lips. Only when he was satisfied did he slowly let her go, then casually walked up to the second floor.

Luo Wei and the baby looked at each other, both feeling a bit dazed.

At noon, Mo Huai packed all of Xiao Yueyi’s essentials, held Luo Wei’s hand, and the family of three drove to the largest amusement park in Yanjing.

As soon as they got out of the car, Luo Wei could feel the lively atmosphere, with crowds of people everywhere.

Mo Huai held the baby in his left arm and Luo Wei's delicate hand in his right as they walked into the park. The little baby immediately became excited, bouncing up and down in Mo Huai’s arms at the sight of so many people.

"Little one, don’t move around," Mo Huai gently held the baby’s back, his voice so soft it could melt.

Luo Wei’s eyes sparkled with excitement, not much less than the baby’s. "Little one, you’re so happy! Looks like we’ll have to come here often from now on."

"Mhm, I’ll do whatever Weiwei wants," Mo Huai agreed with a smile. As the head of the Mo Corporation, it was his first time in an amusement park. His parents had never let him go to such crowded places when he was a child.

Since the baby was still small, they only rode the Ferris wheel and then strolled around the park. At that moment, Luo Wei felt like the happiest woman in the world.

She had a husband who loved her deeply and a sweet, adorable child. What more could she ask for?

As she walked hand in hand with Mo Huai, he suddenly said, "Weiwei, shouldn’t we start planning a wedding? Xiao Yueyi is already born, and I owe you a wedding."

"A wedding?" Luo Wei paused and blinked. "Well… I don’t really care about that. Those are just formalities. As long as I have you and Xiao Yueyi, that’s enough for me."

"How can that be? My woman can’t be treated casually, especially as the future Mrs. Mo," Mo Huai insisted, his tall figure towering over her.

"Weiwei, let’s have a wedding, alright? I want to make you happy."

"Weiwei…" Luo Wei stared off into the distance, her gaze unwavering. Mo Huai curiously followed her line of sight and was momentarily stunned.

Luo Jianguo stood about 500 meters away, his eyes unfocused and expression dazed, as if life hadn’t been treating him well lately.

Luo Jianguo quickly composed himself and walked toward them, his heart skipping a beat when he saw the cold look in Mo Huai’s eyes.

"Mr. Mo," Luo Jianguo greeted him, then shifted his gaze to Luo Wei.

Upon closer inspection, Luo Wei noticed that Luo Jianguo had more wrinkles on his face, his hair was graying at the temples, and he no longer had the imposing presence she once remembered.

Mo Huai, ever the gentleman, gave them space, taking the baby to another booth while Luo Wei and Luo Jianguo sat across from each other.

Two steaming drinks sat on the table between them. Luo Jianguo’s face was filled with worry as he spoke in a choked voice, "Weiwei, I was assigned by the company to maintain order here today. I didn’t expect to run into you."

Upon hearing this, Luo Wei glanced over and saw that Luo Jianguo was wearing a company uniform with the word "Security" written on his badge. She sighed. Who would have thought that the once high-spirited Mr. Luo would end up working as a security guard?

Seeing Luo Wei’s indifferent attitude, Luo Jianguo couldn’t help but start sobbing. "Weiwei, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have treated you that way."

This was the first time Luo Jianguo had ever offered her a sincere apology. After Zhu Shulan divorced him and Luo Qianqian ran away, leaving him with nothing, it was clear this was his punishment.

With that, Luo Jianguo broke down in tears.

Luo Wei sighed, unwilling to get tangled up with the Luo family anymore. "Mr. Luo, let’s leave the past in the past. I’m happy now. You go your way, and I’ll go mine."

The grown man sobbed openly in the restaurant, ignoring the curious glances of other diners.

"Are you going to abandon me too, Weiwei? I…" Luo Wei chuckled coldly. So, it was fine for him to cast her aside, but not the other way around? Hadn’t he abandoned her long ago?

Had he ever shown her any fatherly love?

With that thought, a cruel smirk appeared on Luo Wei’s lips.

"Mr. Luo, I believe I’ve made myself clear. We have nothing to do with each other."

Her expression was cold and emotionless, her voice chillingly sharp. Now he regrets it? She didn’t care.

"I…" Luo Jianguo’s throat seemed to close up, and he couldn’t utter another word. He broke down, sobbing uncontrollably.

Luo Wei stood up gracefully without saying another word and walked toward Mo Huai, leaving Luo Jianguo alone with his sorrow.

Standing before Mo Huai, the man smiled and gently stroked her hair. "That’s my good wife. You should never show mercy to those who’ve hurt you."

Luo Wei shrugged and spread her hands. "Thanks, hubby. You deserve half the credit."

Little Yueyi clapped her hands excitedly when she saw Luo Wei and jumped up, wanting her mom to hold her.

Luo Wei scooped the baby into her arms and kissed her. "Yueyi, do you think mommy did the right thing too?"

It was as if Yueyi understood, nodding eagerly.

Luo Wei and Mo Huai shared a smile and walked out of the restaurant, hand in hand.
