There are three months left until Luo Wei and Mo Huai's wedding, and the first task is to take wedding photos. Mo Huai orders Gu Chuyi to be Luo Wei's wedding dress designer.

Gu Chuyi cheerfully agrees and vows to make Luo Wei the most beautiful bride in the world. Mo Huai is very satisfied with Gu Chuyi's response and generously rewards her with a million yuan.

"Weiwei, how is it? Does it feel tight?" Gu Chuyi helps Luo Wei try on the wedding dress. Gu Chuyi is already well-known in the design world, and her designs are quite unique.

The sacred mermaid-style wedding dress is made of exquisitely crafted lace with a noble and elegant Baroque design, and the silver-white lace train flows like a waterfall, making Luo Wei look as pure and beautiful as an angel.

"It's not tight; it fits perfectly." Luo Wei glances down at the wedding dress she's wearing, feeling emotional. She never thought she would one day be able to wear such a beautiful wedding dress.

Her eyes suddenly grow misty, but she quickly pulls her thoughts together, returning to her usual expression. "Thank you, Chuyi."

"Silly girl, what are you thanking me for?" Gu Chuyi chuckles. "Mo Dog gave me a million yuan for the design fee, so feel free to take full advantage of me."

Little Yueyi, who had been playing by herself, saw Luo Wei in the wedding dress and excitedly crawled over to her.

"Little Yueyi, doesn't Mommy look pretty?" Gu Chuyi bends down and picks up the little one, her eyes filled with warmth.

As if understanding, Little Yueyi nods enthusiastically, babbling away and dancing in Gu Chuyi's arms.

"Haha, so cute. Auntie loves you," Gu Chuyi plants a kiss on the little one's chubby face, smiling brightly.

Luo Wei smiles and picks up the baby, teasing Gu Chuyi, "You love kids so much. Why don't you have one of your own?"

Gu Chuyi pouts and waves her hand dismissively. "Other people's kids are always the best."

Luo Wei rolls her eyes at her, about to say something when she suddenly notices Mo Huai approaching. She changes her tone. "Husband, do I look pretty?"

She spins around, the hem of the wedding dress fluttering in the breeze.

Mo Huai's lips curve into a slight smile, his eyes filled with affection. "Weiwei, you're always beautiful."

Gu Chuyi shudders, pretending to be covered in goosebumps, wishing her Chenchen was here to tease.

"Alright, alright," Gu Chuyi interrupts quickly. "Mo Dog, don’t you have work today?"

Mo Huai ignores her and walks straight to Luo Wei's side, casually replying, "Have you ever seen a CEO who needs to stick to a strict work schedule?"

Gu Chuyi glares at him, feeling like her throat is blocked, unable to say a word.

Mo Huai pays no attention to her and turns to Luo Wei, his eyes twinkling with love. His only wish is to make her the happiest woman in the world.

"Do I look good?" Luo Wei asks shyly, smiling softly.

"Mm, very beautiful," Mo Huai replies, his eyes never leaving her.

Luo Wei's heart blooms with joy.

Gu Chuyi can't take any more of their sweet interaction and quickly finds an excuse to leave.

On her way back, she hopes Fu Chen will take the initiative to contact her. She nervously opens WeChat, but his last message was from last night: "Goodnight."

He hasn't messaged her all day. Could he really be that busy? Even a big star wouldn’t be this swamped, right?

Gu Chuyi is puzzled, thinking maybe she's overreacting. It’s only been a dozen hours since they last talked, and she's already fallen so deep?

She used to mock Mo Huai for being a lovesick fool, but now she realizes she might have the same potential.

Lost in thought, Gu Chuyi returns to the office, immersing herself in work and pushing thoughts of Fu Chen aside.

Meanwhile.

Fu Chen just wrapped up a shoot and was in the makeup room removing his makeup. His manager stood behind him, hesitant to speak.

Fu Chen glanced at her and casually asked, "You have something to say?"

The manager sighed deeply, speaking earnestly, "Chen, you need to be honest with me about something."

Fu Chen hesitated for a moment, thinking he hadn't done anything wrong. He hadn’t even been caught in any scandals — not that he needed one, now that he had a girlfriend.

"Ask away."

After a few seconds of silence, the manager finally spoke, "Are you in a relationship?" Her eyes locked on him, fingers fidgeting.

"Mm," Fu Chen answered lightly.

The manager was stunned, murmuring, "Are you crazy? You're at the peak of your career! This is a huge taboo in the entertainment industry. Do you know that if you're found out, your female fans will turn against you?"

"I know, but I don't care."

"You... don't care?" The manager was furious, her chest heaving with anger. "Power, fame, being adored by millions — none of that matters to you?"

"It doesn't."

A faint smile appeared on Fu Chen's lips as he thought of Gu Chuyi. His heart warmed. He had entered the entertainment industry for her, and now that he had her, fame and fortune no longer mattered. Only she did.

The manager gripped the wall for support, barely keeping herself from collapsing. She gathered her thoughts and spoke slowly, "It's her, isn't it? Gu Chuyi."

"Mm." Fu Chen nodded.

The manager, speechless, stormed out of the makeup room.

——

At MB Café.

"Miss Gu, sorry for asking you to meet so suddenly." The manager wore sunglasses and a professional suit, looking sharp and tidy.

"It’s no problem. What’s this about?" Gu Chuyi asked, stirring her coffee and adding a sugar cube.

The manager hesitated, her face full of concern.

Gu Chuyi spoke first. "Is this about Fu Chen?"

"Yes." The manager sighed, clearly helpless. "Miss Gu, I know about your relationship with Fu Chen. Right now, Fu Chen is filming Director Zhang's movie and has already signed a contract. It includes a clause that forbids him from dating until after the film’s release. If he breaks the contract, he'll have to pay a billion in penalties. I’m only looking out for Fu Chen’s future. Could you possibly pause your relationship with him for now?"

Gu Chuyi lowered her head, her mood deflated.

The manager knew her words were harsh, but she had no other choice. "Miss Gu, I know it’s unfair to you, but for Fu Chen’s sake..."

"Mm, I understand," Gu Chuyi replied, dejected, but lifted her head. "Does Fu Chen know you’re asking me this?"

"He doesn’t," the manager admitted, her voice faltering.

"Then please have him come and tell me himself. After all, this is between us. No one else should interfere."

The manager sighed deeply, frustrated. "Miss Gu, Fu Chen’s career is at its peak right now. If news of your relationship gets out, it will destroy everything. Can you bear to see him lose millions of fans?"

Gu Chuyi remained silent. The manager pressed on, "Just wait a few more months. Once he finishes Director Zhang’s film and the contract is fulfilled, you can make your relationship public. It’s a win-win: no lawsuits, and fans will gradually accept you. Isn't that perfect?"

Gu Chuyi hesitated, her resolve wavering. The manager’s words made sense, and her heart was beginning to sway.
